Free COI audit: send us 10 certificates, we'll show you every gap.
Most certificate files have problems nobody has noticed yet: a policy that lapsed last month, a general liability limit below what the subcontract requires, or an "additional insured" box that's checked with no endorsement behind it. Send us up to 10 certificates and your requirements, and we'll check every one and email you a plain-English gap report.
Got it. One last step.
Email up to 10 certificates (PDFs or clear photos) to subcoverhq@gmail.com with the subject Free COI audit, from the address you just entered. If your requirements are in a contract or spreadsheet, attach that too.

What we check on each certificate
- Policy dates: expired, expiring within 30 days, or missing policies
- Limits against your minimums for general liability, auto, umbrella, and workers' comp
- Additional insured, waiver of subrogation, and primary and noncontributory, and whether the endorsement is actually attached or only named
- Certificate holder and named insured: exact legal names, DBAs, and LLC mismatches
- Insurer details and red flags that suggest an altered or outdated certificate
What you get back
- A one-page summary: how many certificates pass, how many have gaps, and what to fix first
- Certificate-by-certificate findings in plain English
- A ready-to-send correction email for each sub or vendor with a gap, so you can fix it the same day

Common questions
Is the audit really free?
Yes. There's no charge, no card, and no obligation to subscribe. We audit up to 10 certificates once so you can see what a full review catches.
What do I need to send?
Up to 10 certificates of insurance (PDFs or clear photos of ACORD 25 forms), plus your insurance requirements if you have them: minimum limits, additional insured, waiver of subrogation, and so on. No requirements written down? We'll check against common contractor minimums and tell you which ones we used.
What do I get back?
A short report by email: each certificate's policies, limits, and expiration dates, whether it meets your requirements, the gaps we found (low limits, missing additional insured or waiver, expired or soon-expiring policies, named insured mismatches), and a ready-to-send correction email for each sub or vendor with a gap.
How long does it take?
We aim to reply within two business days of receiving your certificates.
What happens to my certificates?
We use them only to prepare your audit. We don't contact your subs, vendors, or their agents unless you later ask us to, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. See our privacy policy.
Is this insurance or legal advice?
No. SubCover HQ is an administrative service. We compare what the certificate shows against the requirements you give us. Coverage questions go to your insurance agent, and contract questions go to your attorney.
If the audit is useful, SubCover HQ does this for every sub and vendor you have, all year, for $99/month: we collect the certificates, check them, track expirations, and chase what's missing. Start for $99/mo or just keep the report.
SubCover HQ is an administrative service. It is not an insurance agency or broker, and it does not provide insurance or legal advice.
Done chasing certificates?
SubCover HQ collects, checks, and tracks your subs' and vendors' COIs for a flat $99/month. Cancel anytime.
